Internship
Our Faculty's Interior Architecture Department does not have a mandatory internship program. Students can complete internships on a voluntary basis. Students who wish to intern can do so by following the relevant internship procedures.

INTERNSHIP STAGES |

Important Announcement! According to Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety, apprentices and interns are required to receive basic occupational health and safety training appropriate to the hazard class of the workplace where they will be interning before starting their internship. Completing the necessary training before starting the internship is mandatory for students. Furthermore, they are required to submit proof of completion to the Internship Commission. |

Phase 1 |
If you have decided to do an internship, the most important first thing you need to do is to apply to workplaces online or in person and get accepted. After this stage, you need to fill out the Internship Application Form and have it approved by the company. You must then submit it, along with other internship documents, to your Department Head after having it approved by your Department advisor. |

Phase 2 |
Once you are accepted, please fill out the WORKPLACE/INSTITUTION INTERNSHIP ACCEPTANCE FORM. Don't forget to have the relevant sections approved by company officials and stamped and signed. |

Stage 3 |
Please fill out the INTERNSHIP INSURANCE APPLICATION FORM legibly, sign it, and submit it to the Department Secretariat along with the documents in Annex-1, Annex-2, and Annex-3 below at least 5 (FIVE) WORKING DAYS BEFORE the start date of your internship . If you submit it 1-2 days before, your insurance registration will not be completed in time.
Documents submitted to the Department Secretariat 5 business days in advance will be sent by the Department to the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Architecture as soon as possible via official letter, and your insurance registration will be completed by the relevant officer. |

Stage 4 |
Please take the "Internship Evaluation Form" with you to your workplace when you go to your internship so that you can conduct your internship evaluation. At the end of your internship, collect the internship report from your workplace and keep it in a sealed envelope to submit to the internship committee. |

Stage 5 |
You can check and print your Social Security Institution / 4A Employment Entry and Exit Declaration document, which proves your insurance coverage , from e-government 1-2 days before your internship begins. You must submit this document to your workplace. You cannot start your internship without this document. If the document does not appear on e-government, please contact the Internship Commission. |
